In a desperate attempt to keep her job, Anna finds herself pitching a unique angle: seven dates, all found offline, chosen by her children. From awkward encounters to unexpected connections, Anna gamely begins to put herself out there, asking out waiters, the mailman, and even her celebrity crush. But when a romantic connection appears where she least expected it, will she be brave enough to take another chance on love?<\/p>\n

It book is perfect for Valentine\u2019s day! It was so much fun to read. Though predictable, the banter and plot made it enjoyable. I really liked the premise here, the idea that Anna\u2019s kids would be arranging dates for her was so cute and charming! The dates she goes on are equal parts sweet and awkward and there were many moments of hilarity. Seeing Anna find herself after her divorce was uplifting and hopeful and this one was just a delight!\u00a0<\/p>\n

I gave this novel 4.5 stars. There is so much that I enjoyed about this book, and I was so certain for a long time that it was going to be a five-star book. The last twenty percent of the book, alas, doesn\u2019t quite stick the landing for me, but the rest of the book is so fun, genuinely witty, and with a terrific hero and a complex, self-reflective FMC, that I look forward to reading more from the author.<\/p>\n
