This is the sequel novel to Phantasma<\/em>. This novel reminded me a lot of the movie, Ready Or Not. It didn\u2019t blow me away, but it wasn\u2019t bad. It gives what it promises, but your enjoyment will solely depend on your interest in this shadow guy. Genevieve was not my type of FMC. \u00a0I really wanted to sit her down with a therapist. She was acting like a brat in a lot of scenes & was also insanely inconsistent \u2013 smart sometimes and insanely dumb the next. The plot and challenges were impeccably well done and well thought of, but the romance was so bizarre. I also felt like there was a lot of unexplained questions and nothing was ever resolved. <\/p>\n

I rated this novel 3.5 stars. It had its ups and downs. I appreciated the creativity, world building and twists and turns. But the romance and MCs\u2026 not so much.<\/p>\n
