College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn\u2019t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she\u2019s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change. Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he\u2019s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn\u2019t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina\u2019s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he\u2019ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.<\/p>\n

This is the four book in the Off Campus<\/em> series, and sadly, was my least favorite. That being said, it is not a bad book, I just liked all the other couples way more. LOVED John Tucker, it was more Sabrina that I had issues with. I thought she was a cold bitch and not even a cool one at that. I think the BIG issue is that the author didn\u2019t plan on a reader not liking the heroine so redeeming her throughout the story wasn\u2019t a concern. The story stayed course and my hopes that she was redeemable and\/or that I\u2019d even liked her never happened. Sabrina is a hard person to like and for me she wasn\u2019t worthy of a great guy like John Tucker. Though I think I was supposed to connect to her from the beginning it just never happened.<\/p>\n

I rated this novel 3.5 stars. unfortunately, with my dislike for the main female character didn\u2019t make me like this book too much. The way she treats Tucker like crap over and over again and is simply too cold for my tastes. Hopefully with the final book she can redeem herself. <\/p>\n
