I think this book is best to go into blind \u2013 it has a storyline that is so bingeable and chapters that are super short you\u2019ll want to turn the page and find out what\u2019s happening next! This was a lot deeper than I thought it would be and at times it was a hard read, but I really enjoyed it. I think my main complaint was that throughout the whole story, it seemed like everyone hated her by the way they acted, but then once she was closer to getting her memories back, everyone instantly switched and treated her like the victim. I was waiting for the shoe to drop and to find out this big betrayal that Evie did, but it was just her being manipulated and a victim in an emotionally abusive relationship. This book was emotional and sweet to read! I loved the dual timeline and seeing Evie and Drew\u2019s relationship in the past.<\/p>\n

I rated this novel four stars. My biggest issue is with the ending. The convergence of love story and mystery just didn\u2019t feel natural or right. It came out of left field and yes I love a good plot twist but this is absolutely not a thriller. UGH. The frustration. The characters are fantastic and the writing is beautiful. Still a worthy read, I just wish there was more closure and less bombshells.<\/p>\n
