The atmosphere of Idlewood was so vividly drawn that I could practically feel the icy air seeping through the cabin walls, adding to the sense of isolation and unease.<\/p>\n

The pacing was sharp and fast, pulling me right into the mystery. Every member of the Dalton family is exactly as chaotic and dysfunctional as you\u2019d expect from a wealthy clan holed up in their remote estate. I found myself wanting to trust certain characters, but Kate Alice Marshall quickly reminded me that nobody in this family comes without their secrets. That constant push and pull kept me hooked.<\/p>\n

I especially enjoyed rooting for Teddy and Connor, and I loved the moments when Connor\u2019s sister stepped up to support Teddy\u2014it added an unexpected warmth amid the cold and suspicion. Honestly, the whole story felt a bit like watching a reality TV drama, only with murder and long-buried family secrets at the core.<\/p>\n

Marshall\u2019s writing style is immersive and cinematic, making it easy to lose track of time while listening. The story flew by, and by the end, I knew I\u2019d be picking up more of her books. For me, A Killing Cold<\/em> was a solid, engaging 4-star read.<\/p>\n
