Reflecting the classic stand-up\u2019s truism that \u201cpeople think it\u2019s funny when I\u2019m sad,\u201d even when she\u2019s listing her fears or turns to bulimia while wrestling with shame and depression at her weight, her tone is at its lowest only self-deprecatory.
