One dark evening on New York City\u2019s Upper West Side, two strangers meet by chance. Over drinks, Amanda and Wendy realize they have much in common, especially loneliness and an intense desire for revenge against the men who destroyed their families. In another part of the city, Ruth is home alone when the beautiful brownstone she shares with her husband, Scott, is invaded. She\u2019s attacked by a man with piercing blue eyes, who disappears into the night. Will she ever be able to feel safe again while the blue-eyed stranger is out there?<\/p>\n

This was STRESSFUL!! The most intense and thrilling book I\u2019ve read in a while. Some parts had me legitimately quaking in my boots! Wowza!!! I had a lot of fun with this book. It was instantly gripping, intense, and hard to put down! I loved the premise and was awed by how well thought out this book was. Cavanagh had me on the edge of my seat, gripping my kindle and swiping those pages wanting to know what shoe would drop next. Talk about jaw dropping! I did not see one of the reveals coming. I was blind sighted and loved it! That is how you do it!<\/p>\n

Five incredible stars for this novel. This was another smashing hit, punching me in the face with surprise after surprise. I remember thinking, well this reminds me of\u2026 and then everything turned around into an unusual plot that I\u2019ve never encountered before. The plot and twists wasn\u2019t all though, the cherry on the top was how intense and suspenseful it was. Cavanagh has an incredible talent.<\/p>\n
