This is the final installment of the Powerless <\/em>series, as well as a novella on a side character. I am a HUGE fan of the Powerless <\/em>series, but this one didn\u2019t do it for me. Okay\u2014so I didn\u2019t hate this, but I had high hopes for this book and it\u2019s just so\u2026what?! It\u2019s so hard to even describe this book, I think that maybe I just didn\u2019t understand it? It hurts me to write this but I was disappointed, Lauren honestly let me down. I knew I should have been prepared about what the book would be about, but it still didn\u2019t hit like her other books. I wanted that gut wrenching pain like the way Powerful <\/em>delivered.<\/p>\n

I have to give this novel three stars. Overall, not her best book and not a must read but if you want to read it, then go for it. The whole novella didn\u2019t really feel like it had a point, and it sort of felt repetitive, especially since it took place the same time as Fearless<\/em>. It wasn\u2019t all bad but definitely could have been better. The ending hinted at more to come, but also left me confused\u2026<\/p>\n
