It\u2019s dark, spicy, and wickedly funny \u2014 the perfect quick read to dive back into the Kane family\u2019s world of murder, mayhem, and messy love.<\/p>\n

The Story<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sloane and her vigilante family of serial killers are back for their annual \u201chunt,\u201d a deadly game where they track down the worst of the worst and take them out \u2014 think family bonding, but with more blood and banter.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s target is Allan Munster, a supposedly harmless chicken farmer with horrifying secrets. The family splits into teams \u2014 girls versus boys \u2014 to see who can take him down first. But in true Kane fashion, sabotage, scheming, and a few surprises make the competition even more dangerous (and hilarious).<\/p>\n

My Thoughts<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This novella is short, sharp, and so much fun. It\u2019s everything I love about Brynne Weaver\u2019s writing \u2014 equal parts dark humor, spice, and sharp-edged wit. Even though it\u2019s a quick read, it still delivers all the tension and chemistry that make the Ruinous Love<\/em> world so addictive.<\/p>\n

Told from Sloane\u2019s perspective, Love & Other Killers<\/em> gives us a perfect dose of her unapologetic confidence and snark. The girls-versus-boys setup adds a playful, competitive edge, and the banter had me grinning the whole way through. I also loved getting a glimpse of the Kane family again \u2014 it felt like a reunion with your favorite (slightly unhinged) fictional friends.<\/p>\n

While I wish it had been just a bit longer \u2014 because I wasn\u2019t ready to leave this world again \u2014 it still packed a punch for such a short read.<\/p>\n

Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Love & Other Killers<\/em> is a dark, funny, and spicy little novella that delivers exactly what fans of the Ruinous Love Trilogy<\/em> have been craving. It\u2019s fast, twisted, and filled with the kind of family chaos only Brynne Weaver can pull off.<\/p>\n
