This is a unique story told with dry humor and the premise had me hooked. <\/p>\n

While the first half unfolds a little slowly, setting up its darkly satirical world, the second half picks up with more plot and momentum, drawing me deeper into its quirky, twist-filled tale. The witty dialogue and sharp observations keep the story engaging, and there\u2019s a special spark in the book\u2019s offbeat charm that kept me invested. Once it gets going, it\u2019s a fun, slyly entertaining read!<\/p>\n

The students who attend McMasters all have one goal: to end someone\u2019s life who has made theirs miserable or done something unspeakable. To gain admission, a student must have an ethical reason for erasing someone who deeply deserves a fate no worse (nor better) than death. No one at the school knows where this school is located. <\/p>\n

The MC, Cliff Iverson, ends up at the school after he unsuccessfully attempts to kill his boss. Cliff is quickly taken from the scene and he thinks he might be under arrest. He arrives at the school and quickly learns the rules of how to \u201cdelete\u201d his former employer in a successful way. We get to meet some of his other classmates and start getting invested in their story as well.<\/p>\n

In the end, Murder Your Employer<\/em> is a refreshingly unique and darkly humorous tale that plays with the boundaries of morality, all while delivering a cleverly satirical plot. Despite a slow start, Rupert Holmes expertly draws readers into the lives of his would-be assassins, making their twisted journey both engaging and surprisingly relatable. If you\u2019re a fan of clever, offbeat stories with a bite, this is a book that will leave you both entertained and intrigued until the very last page. <\/p>\n
