There\u2019s that one, too.<br \/>She needed a hand, and I had the time.<br \/>What was the harm in pretending to be a handyman if it helped my pretty ranch owner neighbor out?<br \/>Besides, how hard could it be?<br \/>But now I\u2019m realizing that there are certain things even a billionaire like me can\u2019t pull off. Like knowing how to rewire the lighting on an entire barn. Or even lay water pipe. (And who\u2019s Allen, and why would I want his wrench?)<\/p>\n<p>Worse yet, I\u2019m starting to really like Emily and realize that she isn\u2019t going to take this little ruse very well when I tell her the truth. That I\u2019m not-so-handy after all.<br \/><span class=\"a-text-bold a-text-italic\">But her legacy\u2014and Emily\u2014are in danger.<\/span>\u00a0And even if I could forget about the hottest kiss of my life, there\u2019s no way I can back down from protecting the woman who gave it to me. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the realities of the injustices that animals face at the hands of mankind.
