Marymount girls are good girls. Even if they weren\u2019t, no one would know, because girls like Clay Collins keep their mouths shut. Not that Clay has anything to share, anyway. Always in control, she owns the hallways, walking tall on Monday and then dropping to her knees like the good Catholic girl she is on Sunday. What she wants she has to hide. Liv Jaeger crosses the tracks every day for one reason: to graduate from high school and get into the Ivy League. But Clay, with her beautiful skin, clean shoes, and rich parents, torments her daily and thinks Liv won\u2019t fight back. At least not until Liv gets Clay alone and finds out she\u2019s hiding so much more than just what\u2019s underneath those pretty clothes. Liv told Clay to stay on her side of town. But one night, Clay doesn\u2019t listen. And once Liv is done with her, she\u2019ll never be a good girl again.<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m being honest it was the cover that made me want to read this! That and the fact that is it the prequel to her next book Five Brothers<\/em> that I want to read. I never thought this was a female\/female book since I assumed Clay was\u00a0guy<\/em>. I have nothing against male\/male or female\/female but for some reason, I have always avoided it. Perhaps because I do not relate. Regardless, I did end up enjoying this book. Women are not superheroes. They break, they feel, they hurt, they cry. And it is through that they become strong. Just because they are women doesn\u2019t mean they can deal with every hardship, every obstacle with a smile.<\/p>\n

I rated this novel four stars. I had to reduce one star because there was too much bully drama. I have never read a bully romance, but I couldn\u2019t get over how drastic the bullying actually was. But in the end, Douglas always writes the best. <\/p>\n
