Then I read the premise, and I knew I had to see how this whole thing was going to play out.

Lily Hart is ready to leave her toxic nonprofit job behind for a shiny new remote position. But when things don’t go quite as planned, she ends up working both jobs. Just temporarily, of course. Except two jobs somehow turn into three, then four, and eventually FIVE! Five jobs, five laptops, multiple identities, fake accents, and even a stint pretending to be her own twin brother. What could possibly go wrong?!

I was intrigued from the beginning because I couldn’t imagine how Lily was going to juggle two jobs, much less FIVE! And let me tell you, the anxiety I felt while reading this book was real! I swear I was practically reading with one eye closed because I was so nervous for Lily the entire time. Every time I thought she was about to get caught, she’d somehow manage to keep the whole crazy operation going. I just kept waiting for everything to come crashing down!

And, of course, things get even more complicated when a handsome British stranger enters the picture. Because what’s a little workplace chaos without throwing some romance into the mix? Add in a scheming coworker, a whole lot of close calls, and an increasingly tangled web of lies, and you’ve got one entertaining story!

What I loved about this book was how it kept me on the edge of my seat while also making me laugh. It’s witty, clever, and completely chaotic in the best way. I couldn’t help but wonder how Lily was possibly going to get herself out of the mess she’d created!

If you’re looking for a book that’s full of humor, wit, and enough workplace chaos to make your own job seem downright relaxing, See You Next Tuesday is definitely one to pick up! Just be prepared to feel a little secondhand anxiety because I certainly did!

The post See You Next Tuesday by Jacqueline A.
