Though this is the third book in Levine’s series, it reads well as a standalone—you’ll just enjoy some familiar faces if you’ve read the others. The tone is light and breezy, making it a perfect weekend escape. I loved the quirky premise, the mysterious puzzle of Peter’s memories, and the slow reveal of Zelda’s own past.
This was a fun little escape filled with charm, magic, and unexpected heart—perfect for readers who love a cozy paranormal romance with a bit of road trip adventure. I am sad that this series is ending. This has been the perfect paranormal romance to break up my heavy reading.
