Meet Noah—an A-honor roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren’t any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim team practice. He’s sentenced to eighteen months in a juvenile sexual rehabilitation center. His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won’t allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?

The way this book is written is like the author want to manipulate me to normalize or empathize with Noah. I don’t care what that makes me but I didn’t feel bad for him. Pedophilia is not a taboo attraction like the author wrote, It’s a borderline disease!!! The mother was the worst character ever! She kept making so much excuses for Noah to point where she had the audacity to say he’s more of a victim then the little girls! And then the plot twist? The cheapest worst ever!

This is one of the most controversial books I have ever read. It was either going to be a five star read, or a zero star read. I ended up choosing how it made me feel and if I would recommend. I am so broken, sad, and depressed after this book that I never want anyone to feel like this, so I have to give it barely a star. It was so well written but the story was so awful that I just can’t give it a better rating.
