What really made the story work for me was the characters. None of them are perfect, and they don’t always make the best decisions—but that’s exactly what makes them feel real. I found myself especially invested in the survivors of the May Day Killer. Watching their stories unfold, I couldn’t help but root for them.
And then there’s the mystery itself. I thought I had it figured out… multiple times. Each time, I changed my mind. The twists kept coming, and just when I felt confident, the story pulled the rug out from under me.
By the end, I was fully immersed—completely wrapped up in the characters and desperate to see how everything would come together.
