It Audit Be You was my first book by Madylen Valdes, and it definitely won’t be my last!
This was such a fun, easy read with a fast pace that kept me turning the pages. I flew through it because the story was entertaining from beginning to end, and I absolutely adored Louisa and Jackson. Their chemistry, shared history, and second-chance romance had me rooting for them the whole time.
The book has the perfect balance of humor and heart. It made me laugh, made me smile, and left me feeling happy when I turned the final page. And I have to mention that Louisa being a tax lawyer made me laugh—maybe it’s because I happened to read this during tax season, but it felt like perfect timing!
If you’re looking for a light, entertaining romance that will make you laugh and leave you with a smile, or you need the perfect palate cleanser after a heavier or longer book, I highly recommend picking this one up.
