After following a cryptic, handwritten note asking for help, Roe and her companions journey into HalLows Realm, where an ancient Storm Catcher Curse threatens both the land and the people trapped within it. Separated from one another, each member of the group uncovers different pieces of the realm’s history while navigating sentient forests, enchanted paintings, eerie Outsiders, and long-forgotten magic. As the mystery deepens, the friends are forced to confront not only the curse itself but also their own insecurities and assumptions about what it means to be a hero. What begins as a rescue mission gradually becomes a story about identity and choosing compassion over fear.
